Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly

Key Responsibilities

Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
Develop efficient and productive layouts for machines within plant facilities.
Specify procedures and sequence of operations for tool and equipment fabrication affecting product performance.
Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans.
Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for product quality.
Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control.
Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements.
Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.
Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing electro-mechanical medical devices.
• Proficiency in process improvement and troubleshooting.
• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience required.

Work Environment
This is an onsite position in Billerica, MA, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The candidate will support the Affera Capital Test product line.
