Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while using clinical judgment and supervisory discretion.
• Collect relevant data, assess health status, develop and implement a care plan, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide education and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; maintain safe and healing environment; document care appropriately.

Requirements

• California RN license (active)
• CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• PALS certification (required)
• BSN degree preferred
• At least two years of recent acute care/Med Surg experience preferred
