The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.Applies quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.Basic QualificationsSTEM degree at the Bachelor level or above, or equivalent experience/combined educationStrong understanding of engineering requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods - ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related Performance MetricsExperience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (Material Review Board)Experience performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems utilizing causal analysis toolsDesired SkillsSTEM degree at the Bachelor level or aboveExperience as a team lead and/or facilitatorHigh energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goalsProven ability to resolve complex technical issuesA basic understanding of MFC Apriso, SAP, and P2P business systemsExperience with hardware inspectionsExperience with AS9100, AS9102, J-STD-001, and IPC-610 interpretation and application experienceExperience effectively communicating and interacting with Quality Management, Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholdersStrong organizational and communication skills with the capability to work in a dynamic environment.Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
