~ Our client is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join their team. This role involves specimen collection, patient interaction, specimen processing, and ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and safety regulations.
Properly explain specimen collection procedures to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Perform equipment maintenance, decontamination, and record maintenance logs.
Attend required annual departmental training.
Respond to telephone inquiries and communicate laboratory results as appropriate.
High School Diploma or GED.

• 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital environment.
• Valid Phlebotomy Certification where required by state regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills.
