Join Ennoble Care today!Ennoble Care is looking for a part-time Hospice Registered Nurse within and around the Philadelphia, PA region to provide care and support to terminally ill patients on weekends. Your presence and services should bring comfort to the person who faces the end of their lives and help them reach acceptance and peace of mind. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills will make you a good candidate for this position. We expect you to be knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill, performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support. The goal is to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort.Responsibilities:Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan careTriage phone callsMake visits to the patient as needed to evaluate their conditionProvide support and comfort according to individual patient's needsWork with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient careHelp in administering medicationAlleviate sudden symptoms of the disease's end phaseNotify a doctor for a patient's condition when deemed necessaryAssist patients and their families with paperworkMaintain accurate recordsHelp relatives cope with the upcoming loss and provide post-mortem supportQualifications:A valid RN license to practice within the State of NJProven experience as hospice nurse or registered nurseMust be able to work at least 1 - 2 weekends per month on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am - 5:00pmKnowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side-effectsCommitted to safety precautions and high ethical standardsSound judgement and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and bilingual a plusCompassionate and patient with an emotional stabilityFlat On-Call Rate: $350 for the weekend plus $85 per visit, $85 per pronouncement, and $150 per admission ratesFull-time employees qualify for the following benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision and supplementary benefits such as Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts for Medical and Dependent Care, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.Paid Time OffPaid Office HolidaysAll employees qualify for these benefits:Paid Sick Time401(k) with up to 3% company matchReferral ProgramPayactiv: pay-on-demand.
