Required Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience in Server Administration, preferably in enterprise or data center environments.

Strong hands‑on experience in macOS Server administration and related ecosystem tools.

Proficiency in server configuration, maintenance, and scripting (Shell, Bash, or similar automation scripting languages).

Experience with endpoint and device management/security tools such as VMware Workspace ONE, Tanium, Jamf, or equivalent platforms.

Strong understanding of server security profile configuration, access controls, and compliance standards.

Experience with server virtualization technologies and environments.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis and issue resolution.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer and maintain macOS servers in enterprise data center environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security compliance.

Manage server patching schedules, OS updates, and security software updates in alignment with organizational security policies.

Perform day‑to‑day server administration tasks, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Develop and maintain automation scripts for software deployment, patch management, and system updates.

Collaborate closely with Mac Support and Infrastructure teams to define and execute server management strategies within the data center.

Ensure all servers remain compliant with security baselines, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Manage and troubleshoot network configurations including DHCP, IP assignment, and resolution of IP conflicts or network identification issues.

Support managed OS deployments, software packaging, and application installation processes.

Participate in incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives for server infrastructure.

Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
