Manpower
Our client, in the metal recycling industry, is seeking Stick Welders to join their team. As a Stick Welder, you will be part of the industrial operations supporting structural and heavy-duty welding tasks. Stick Welder
Shift:
- Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 10-12 hour shifts (daily overtime included)
- Potential shift to Monday – Thursday if production slows
- Additional overtime available
Perform stick welding (SMAW) on structural steel, equipment, and plant components
Follow blueprints, work instructions, and welding specifications
Repair and maintain industrial equipment and plant structures
Weld on thick, worn, or heavy materials in an industrial setting
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and safety standards
Stick Welding (SMAW) experience or recent SMAW certification
Comfortable working in an industrial / heavy manufacturing environment
Travel between Van Buren & River Rouge locations as needed
