Head of Supply Chain and Procurement

Overview CBRE Procurement Director - Responsible for overseeing procurement function within Property Management, including sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials. This role supports program, corporate, and client goals.

Responsibilities Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.

Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, set and track staff and department deadlines, and mentor as needed.

Assist with the creation and implementation of company-wide policies, procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials.

Enforce sourcing and procurement strategies to support program, corporate, and client goals.

Develop, communicate, and lead all aspects of local and regional purchasing plans aligned with program, corporate, and client objectives.

Design and develop purchasing information systems and compile monthly reports on departmental activities, benchmarks, and metrics for senior management.

Manage annual procurement budget and supplier base of vendors.

Serve as liaison between the business and client sourcing, and internal departments.

Resolve vendor disputes and develop organization requirements of goods, services, supplies, and equipment.

Apply robust understanding of various subject areas, the business, and key factors that influence departmental and cross-functional performance.

Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; persuade managers and colleagues to take action guided by business plans.

Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach common goals.

Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems by mobilizing appropriate resources within or outside the department.

Improve and transform current methods, processes, and standards within the job field.
