Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Lab

Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab environment, including procedural support, patient monitoring, and post‑procedure care. The position requires flexibility to float between units based on workflow needs and adherence to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide procedural support in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Monitor patients during and after procedures.

Float between units as needed to meet workflow demands.

Support emergent and scheduled cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and diagnostic catheterizations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including interpretation services and rapid response teams.

Work a 10‑hour days shift, aiming for at least 40 hours per week, and be available for at least 3 of 5 holidays.

Complete required charting in the Epic system.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or a state compact license.

ACLS and BLS certifications.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.

Experience with End‑Tidal CO2 monitoring, Cardiac Stent Placement, and related cath lab procedures preferred.

Current state license or compact license must be in hand at submission.

Must have a vehicle for travel within the Portland area.
