Dental Care at Sayebrook, a Heartland Dental supported office, is looking for a qualified Dental Assistant. A sign‑on bonus of $2,000 is offered.

More About The Role

Greet and welcome patients, ensuring comfort and providing education throughout treatment.

Conduct a complete review of the patient’s health history to support quality care.

Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostic assessments, including iTero 3‑D scans and digital photography.

Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with state regulations.

Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.

Prepare the treatment room, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.

Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.

Collaborate with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.

Where required by state practice act: dental assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Will receive HIPAA training and be required to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

Preferred Experience

At least one year of experience in a dental setting.

Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.

Dental assisting school certification.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.

Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.

Availability for virtual or in‑person training sessions throughout the year.

New hires in dental office positions are required to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test, except in Florida and Tennessee.
