Recruiting Coordinator

VSC Fire & Security in Richmond, Virginia is seeking candidates for the position of Recruiting Coordinator.

Proven experience (6 months - 1 year) as a recruiting coordinator or similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of hiring principles and practices.

Experience providing exceptional candidate or customer experience.

Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsible for interview coordination, managing the scheduling across multiple calendars and multiple hiring managers.

Screen and review resumes and applications.

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, answering questions, providing updates and ensuring candidates get the best experience.

Represent the company as a VSC ambassador, including on the phone or at hiring events.

Aid hiring managers in posting of requisitions, determining pay rate ranges and disposition of candidates.

Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation, paperwork, and I‑9s.

Address employee inquiries and concerns, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and contribute to fostering a positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Compile recruiting data, generate reports, and analyze trends to provide insights for management decision-making.

Participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives and other projects.
