During the holiday season, the park hosts Lights on the Lake, a two-mile (3.2 km) drive-through light show.**Position Highlights:*** Full time inpatient Cardiac Hospitalist position within a high volume, cardiology-focused service (no outpatient responsibilities)* 7 on 7 off schedule* Provide comprehensive inpatient management of acute cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes (ACS), and post procedural cardiac care* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators* Flexible schedule with a competitive call structure designed to support work-life balance* Perform admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning* Coordinate care with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery teams* Interpret cardiac diagnostics including EKGs, telemetry, and echocardiograms* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviews**Opportunity Highlights:*** Location: St. Joseph’s Health Hospital - Syracuse, NY* Join a respected, multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators* Supportive environment with comprehensive specialty backup* Physician-led governance structure* Strong system resources and commitment to quality**Qualifications:*** Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease* Experience or strong interest in cardiology focused hospital medicine* New York State medical license (or eligibility)* Strong communication skills and a team based approach to care**Recruitment Package:*** Base Salary is $600,000 per year* Year 2- Cardiologist has opportunity to join Pool Model where RVU and Quality Incentive Models are shared among pool members. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
