Travel Med-Surg Tele Registered Nurse Job in Columbus, Ohio Join a dynamic Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse team in Columbus, Ohio , caring for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced oncology setting. This 16-week travel RN assignment offers rotating 12-hour shifts, Epic charting, and the opportunity to support a highly collaborative care environment focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care. Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Rotating 12-hour shifts
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Charting System: Epic
Weekend Coverage: Variable based on unit needs
Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a related nursing specialty
Current telemetry monitoring and telemetry interpretation experience
Experience with Epic EHR charting required
Oncology nursing experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to unit needs
Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients in a medical-surgical setting
Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
Support patients with a variety of oncology-related medical-surgical diagnoses
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices closely
Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed to support staffing needs
