Full Time Security Professional 1st Shift

This posting is for a full-time, 12-month, 40 hours per week, non-exempt position. This position maintains security and safety of the main campus. This position is under the direct supervision of the Captain of Campus Police and Safety/Security and Chief of Police and Director of Security.

This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance in the office environment.
Open and secure facilities as per the Daily Schedule.
Patrol main campus facilities and grounds.
Patrol all student and special interest housing.
Monitor boiler rooms; check facilities and grounds for maintenance problems. fire, medical, and criminal.
Monitor equipment for signs of wear; vehicle, golf cart, radio's, computer, uniforms, and supplies.
Issue and control contractor keys.
Act as campus liaison during non-office hours.

Customer/Client Focus.
This job operates in a clerical office environment, as well as periodical rounds throughout the campus grounds and worksite. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

and must be able to carry/transport an object/equipment weighing 25-50 lbs. This is a full-time position on main campus. This position is under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police and Director of Security who assigns the work shift of the safety and security department.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position. High school diploma.
Six months of work experience (Security and/or Law Enforcement background is preferred but not necessary).
Security/law enforcement experience (training will be provided to certify the candidate in CPR and AED).
