Production Underwriter - Insurance

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Underwriter, based in Alpharetta, GA. The Production Underwriter will evaluate, select, and price insurance policies for clients while managing risks, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the profitability of the company. Responsibilities include analyzing submissions, underwriting new and renewal policies, managing client relationships, assessing risk exposures, and maintaining strong communication with agents and brokers. Collaborative decision-making and problem-solving will be integral to this role. Qualifications

We prefer 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting experience and you must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Commercial Property and Casualty insurance industry.

Experience working for an MGA is required.

A bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management or related field is ideal, but not required.

Should be proficient in Microsoft Office products with the ability to adapt quickly to new software applications and carrier systems.

Requires a sharp attention to detail, organizational skills, and a consultive sales mentality.
