CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

Job Title: CNC Machinist
This role involves setting up and operating Swiss CNC machines to support high-quality production in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will use blueprints and schematics to configure machines for production runs and contribute to a highly organized, team-oriented operation.
Set up and operate Citizen brand Swiss CNC machinery for production runs.
Prepare and kit components and materials required for CNC operations.
Perform production assembly tasks related to cable assemblies and related components.
Use crimping tools and related equipment to assemble and secure components as required.
Monitor machine performance during production and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent output and product quality.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with lean manufacturing practices.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment.
Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC machinery, preferably Swiss CNC machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to set up machines for production.
Proficiency in basic production assembly tasks, including kitting and cable assembly.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Capability to work effectively in an organized, lean manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and organized workstation practices.
Comfort working in a structured, team-focused production setting.
Willingness to rotate between stations and adapt to changing production needs.
The role is based in a clean, lean manufacturing environment within a modern facility that houses plastic injection molding and CNC operations relocated and expanded domestically.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
