As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. Location: This position floats between Bethpage and Stony Brook must be comfortable commuting between both clinics.

Schedule: Must be able to work Monday - Saturday, open schedule availability required.

The candidate must speak English and Spanish fluently

Paid Training

Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).

Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.

Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.

Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.

Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.

Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
