Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. As a DC Order Selector you will participate in the daily order picking for our Sacramento Distribution Center. DC Order Selector responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process Distribution Center stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Operate and maintain Distribution Center vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Organize Distribution Center and work area for orderliness at all times
Follow safety procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times
Medical, Dental, Vision & More!
~ Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Have reliable transportation to and from work
Able to work overtime as needed
Reach and/or lift materials above head
Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs with assistance
Regularly work indoors/outdoors in cold/hot and wet conditions
We have two available shifts
Day Shift:
~Mandatory weekend availability
~Swing Shift:
~Fridays & Saturdays off every week
