SERVICE MANAGER

$125,000-$205,000 / Year • Full-Time • In-Person

Base + gross, hours-per-RO, CSI, and department net bonuses

Methuen CDJR — part of The Best Automotive Group — is opening a brand-new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership in the heart of the Merrimack Valley, and we’re building the fixed-ops leadership team from the ground up. We are an established, family-oriented automotive group with a strong reputation for integrity, professionalism, and outstanding customer service throughout the region.

Our reputation is built on being easy to do business with, honest in every interaction, and focused on creating a pressure-free experience for every customer. We’re hiring a Service Manager to run the service department at our brand-new Methuen CDJR store. You will own the service drive, the shop floor, the numbers, and the team. Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Technicians, Lube Techs, and Porters all report through you. This is a P&L seat — you’re running a business inside the business, and you’ll have the tools, the equipment, and the leadership backing to do it right.

Compensation: $125,000-$205,000 per year (base + bonuses on customer-pay gross, hours per RO, CSI, and department net profit). Top of the range goes to proven CDJR / high-volume Service Managers who can hit numbers and hold CSI at the same time.

Own the full P&L of the service department — customer-pay, warranty, and internal

Lead Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Technicians, Lube Techs, and Porters — hire, train, coach, and hold accountable

Drive customer-pay gross, hours per RO, effective labor rate, and dispatch efficiency

*
Own CSI — every customer, every RO, every survey; recover unhappy customers personally when it matters

*
Manage shop capacity, technician productivity, and proficiency; Partner with the Parts Manager on stocking, campaigns, and back-counter flow

Execute Mopar / FCA warranty policies with clean claims and low chargebacks

*
Recruit, hire, and onboard technicians and advisors — build the bench

Own service marketing, retention campaigns, and equity / service-to-sales opportunities in partnership with the BDC

Report to the GM on department performance, KPIs, and forecast

3+ years of automotive Service Manager experience required — this is not an entry-level role

CDJR / Mopar dealership service leadership experience strongly preferred

Proven track record of driving customer-pay gross, HPR, and department net while holding CSI

Deep understanding of warranty submission, op-codes, labor times, and manufacturer policy

Proficiency with dealership DMS (Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack) and manufacturer service systems
