The Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Physical Therapist is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio. The individual will work within a team-oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program offering services via outpatient service sites to patients with disorders and conditions primarily associated with orthopedic and sports‑related injuries. Team members report to the rehabilitation team leader as part of the OSU Sports Medicine program structure.

The Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine and direct supervision of the Sports Medicine Rehab Team Leader. They evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the laws and rules governing the practice of physical therapy in Ohio. They also collaborate with rehabilitation assistants and athletic trainers and other participants in patient‑care activities, while practicing within the Medical Center’s policies and procedures and adhering to the Intensive Caring Value statements.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor degree from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education or experience.

Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Physical Therapist.

All Physical Therapist team members must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Physical Therapy.
