The LPN administers skilled direct and indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients according to the patient's plan of care under the direction of the physician or advanced practice provider. The position is required to adhere to universal precautions and is compliant with infection control policies. This incumbent carries out job requirements as delegated by and with the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse.

Provides patient care, under the direction of a physician, in a warm and friendly manner.

Works collaboratively with other caregivers in the office.

Scribing for physicians and/or advanced practice providers

Current Ohio LPN license.

Completion of an approved pharmacology course.

Ability to collect data, interpret findings, set priorities and carry out established plan.

Demonstrates safe Patient Handling (i.e. transfers, transport, care administration, nutrition, medication, etc.)

Demonstrates safe Materials Handling (i.e. appropriate use and disposal of chemicals, infectious wastes, etc.)

Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of Infectious Disease precautions and use of proper protective equipment

May work in an environment with exposure to potentially dangerous/infectious materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions that may include the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
