Trade is seeking a creative, self-directed Content Creator to bring the Trade brand to life on social, one short-form video at a time.

Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, you'll own every step of Trade's short-form content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, from concept to posting. You'll tell the stories of our roasters, our coffees, and the people who drink them. You'll get out from behind the desk for street interviews, roaster visits, and customer stories, and you'll help create the footage and hooks that power our paid creative.

We're a small team, so this role is broad by design. It's ideal for a creator who can spot a trend on Monday, shoot it on Tuesday, and tell you on Friday why it worked.

Develop, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, owning the full process from trend research and scripting to editing, captions, and hooks
Produce a steady rhythm of content, about three to four social videos a week, across formats like brewing tutorials, coffee explainers, product demos, day-in-the-life content, talking heads, and trend-led videos
Get out into the world for street interviews, roaster visits, cafés, events, and customer stories, capturing real people and their real coffee routines
Tell the stories behind our roasters and coffees in ways that feel approachable, fun, and never snobby
Create product and lifestyle footage, talking-head videos, and ad hooks for paid social, partnering with Growth and Creative on performance testing
Repurpose content across social, email, site, and campaigns so the best work goes further
Review paid creative results with the Growth team and apply those lessons to your next round of content
Help build repeatable series and formats that make Trade's social channels recognizable
Stay current on platform best practices, content policies, and music and copyright rules

Fast and self-directed—you can take an idea to a finished video without much hand-holding
Curious about what the data says, and quick to apply it to your next piece of content
Plugged into culture and platform trends, with good judgment about which ones Trade should join
Curious about coffee (expertise not required—we'll get you there)

3+ years of hands-on experience creating short-form social video for a brand, agency, or your own channel

• A portfolio of work you personally concepted, shot, edited, or wrote (personal accounts welcome)
• Strong skills in ideation, scripting, shooting, editing, and copywriting
• Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar editing tools
• Experience at a DTC, subscription, or food and beverage brand

An active personal content channel or creator portfolio
Experience creating or testing paid social ads
Experience with street interviews, documentary-style content, or event coverage
Experience growing a social account or content series from zero
