Position Summary
Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items available to take home. The role requires juggling multiple tasks quickly while providing excellent customer service. It is hard work, but rewarding as part of a large team focused on member satisfaction.

Detailed Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with associates, communicate with team members, and be flexible to business needs, working in other areas as required.
Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise per company policies and food safety standards. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment and demonstrate understanding of product layout.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies, ensure quality and date control standards, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience, modeling high quality service and products, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; prioritize, set deadlines, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
