Head of Strategy and Analysis

The Corporate Strategy team at Ford works on the most impactful strategic issues for the global Ford enterprise, focusing and prioritizing complex challenges facing the company, and defining the strategic choices that positively change the direction of the company in advancing its Ford+ objectives’. Our strategy managers are key workstream leads on our projects and are critical to the success of the deliverables

As a strategy manager on our team, you will

Structuring and solving the problem: Determine most efficient and effective approach to solving complex problems, taking advantage of the strategy organization's existing knowledge, beyond immediate connections

Conducting analyses: Ensures high quality and accurate analysis; Ensures team develops robust fact base, creatively addressing data constraints

Develop compelling insights from complex analysis. Synthesize complex analysis with an ability to draw out and prioritize key conclusions and Independently develop sound recommendations

Apprenticeship and leadership: delegation to ensure timely completion of high-quality deliverables; practice situational leadership coaching team members on the strategy toolkit and building domain expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.

Proven experience leading high impact cross-functional projects at a global scale, working with various levels of the organization

Understand the fundamentals of the automotive industry dynamics, trends, company operations, and managerial accounting is a must

Track record of challenging the status quo and bringing creative solutions to complex issues

Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (written presentations for a senior audience), Excel (mathematical modeling of large data sets), word (white papers)

MBA preferred

Prior experience leading strategy projects or large-scale programs/projects at a global scale
