RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

Dental Assistant – Full Time Position

19–$23 per hour plus benefits.

Rolling Ridge Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.

Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).

Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.

Prepare the treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.

Manage supply and inventory levels, and place and expedite orders as needed.

Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Experience working in a fast‑paced and customer‑centric environment.

If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification.

Regular HIPAA training required; must protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

1+ year of experience in a dental setting.

Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.

Dental assisting school certification.

Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.

Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, unless not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
