Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our USA SHADE team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for shade structure projects of varying size and complexity. This role requires strong collaboration across departments, a thorough understanding of project documentation, and a sharp eye for identifying and mitigating potential cost risks.
Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and related documents to fully understand project scope and requirements.
Collaborate closely with sales teams, engineers, and other key stakeholders to gather essential data for comprehensive and accurate cost estimations.
Prepare detailed estimates, including labor, material, and equipment costs, for a wide range of projects.
Research and analyze historical data such as purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity reports to develop reference materials and improve future estimate accuracy.
Identify potential cost-related risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure accurate project budgeting.
Ensure all cost components are documented and included in final quotation packages with precision and completeness.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proficiency with cost estimation methods and tools, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and related software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Working Conditions Normal office environment setting or may be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Position Location Position is onsite Monday through Friday (8am - 5pm) and not remote eligible. There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
