Head of Market Management

Lead resource planning and coordination with internal customers to understand priorities and influence direction.

Serve as project sponsor for congestion management initiatives, articulating drivers of outcomes and ensuring strong team involvement.

Oversee execution of team responsibilities, including engineering support, cross-departmental representation, application modernization, data-driven proof-of-concepts, and PowerGem software coordination.

Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure effective use of resources.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering; Strong background in energy industry market operations (highly preferred).

Experience coordinating across software development teams and external vendors.

Understanding of energy market concepts, software architecture, and fundamentals of generation, transmission, and distribution.

Knowledge of NERC and FERC regulatory compliance.

Skill in budgeting, forecasting, coaching, and mentoring.

You'll help set the vision for the Forward Market Solutions team and build the capabilities needed to support modern, predictive, and scalable market tools.

Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
