Head of Development (Remote)

IAB – Interactive Advertising Bureau
The Interactive Advertising Bureau is seeking a highly motivated sales and business development professional to help grow IAB’s agency and brand membership community.
This is a revenue-generating role focused on prospecting, pipeline development, member growth, retention, and account expansion. Success requires relationship building, sales discipline, operational rigor, and comfort opening doors that are not already open.
Base + Commission & Bonus Opportunity
You will partner with senior leadership to support growth across IAB’s agency and brand membership portfolio.
Drive membership renewals, retention, and account expansion
- Promote IAB events, sponsorships, training programs, certifications, and industry initiatives
- Create account plans and engagement strategies for priority prospects and members
- Own Salesforce hygiene, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and follow-up documentation
- Monitor industry trends, organizational changes, and leadership movement to inform outreach
- Gather member feedback and surface market intelligence to internal teams
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, partnerships, membership sales, advertising, media, marketing, or a related field
- Experience using CRM systems, with Salesforce strongly preferred
- Experience in digital advertising, media, adtech, martech, agencies, publishers, platforms, measurement, retail media, or related sectors
- Familiarity with media planning, measurement, creator economy, commerce media, retail media, or emerging advertising technologies
Hybrid Schedule: Monday and Friday remote
- 6 Remote Work Weeks a year
