Senior Water Resources Engineering

We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to serve a varied client base and help expand our Water Resources Practice in Ohio. The role is open to remote or hybrid work candidates located in Ohio or North Carolina.

Senior Water Resources Engineer Essential Functions:

Lead the planning and design of a wide range of water resources and civil infrastructure projects, including:

Watershed studies and asset management

Site/civil development and public utility design

Programmatic engineering support

Manage and deliver engineering projects from concept development through final design, permitting, and construction support.

Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.

Collaborate with internal teams, including CAD designers, EITs, and GIS technicians, to develop comprehensive engineering solutions.

Travel occasionally to client sites across the U.Approach complex engineering challenges with creativity and problem-solving.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in water resources is required; a Master’s degree in Water Resources is preferred. Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent software.

Familiarity with GIS tools and applications is a plus.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal stormwater management regulations.

Demonstrated client/project management experience is highly preferred.
