Electrical Engineering- Senior

Insight Global is hiring Senior Electrical Engineer in New York, NY, (Manhattan) where you'll lead the delivery of large, complex building projects as both project manager and lead engineer. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers and consultants to provide project direction, engineering solutions, and expert advice to clients. Lead design efforts and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations in accordance with code requirements and IMEG standards

• Perform site assessments and generate detailed technical reports
• Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication and understanding of project requirements
• Conduct in-process design reviews and implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry and client standards
• Train, mentor, and motivate engineering staff
• Provide technical assistance for field issue resolution with minimal support
• Prioritize safety and identify potential risks in all engineering work
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions
• Lead project interviews and presentations

Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited), or equivalent, required

- 7-12+ years of experience in the building design

consulting industry as an electrical engineer

• Advanced proficiency in technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems
• Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link, TechStreet, MadCAD, and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI)
• Proficiency of Master Specification editing and software (such as eSPECS)
• Proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
