WAREHOUSE INVENTORY PERSON

Warehouse WorkerWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The role involves handling the movement of pallets, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate order picking and shipments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using warehouse management software and have experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.ResponsibilitiesMove pallets of finished products from production using a forklift or pallet jack.Store pallets in their designated warehouse locations.Pick orders accurately and efficiently.Load trucks with finished products when they are ready for shipment.Unload trucks of raw materials and ensure proper storage.Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accuracy.Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities.Document all movements and transactions within the warehouse.Label products and pallets correctly to ensure proper identification.Print tickets for orders and shipments as required.Essential SkillsProficient in forklift operation and material handling.Experience with document review and inventory management.Strong skills in picking, packing, loading, and documentation review.Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other computer applications.Ability to generate reports and maintain electronic records.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sit-down or pallet forklift operation.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
