Job Description Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants
Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am -7pm
Location: Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab, Sportsplex 8701 Maitland Summit Blvd, Orlando, FL 32810
The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.
Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Doctorate [Preferred]
Field Of Study in Physical Therapy
Work Experience Treating Orthopedic Patients [Preferred]
Additional Information Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
Licenses And Certifications Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) [Required]

Pay Range $65,622.66 - $122,055.21
