Working remotely, the full-time Insurance Verification Specialist will manage the verification of customers' insurance for various medical supplies, ensuring accurate account setup and processing of incoming tasks.
Key responsibilities
Verify all insurance products and assist patients with inquiries regarding their accounts
Process incoming verification tasks, prescriptions, referrals, and insurance changes while building and maintaining client accounts
Research insurance guidelines and submit reports to management as needed
Required qualifications
2+ years of experience in a Medical Billing role focused on patient insurance verification and account setup
2+ years of medical billing coding experience
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in using computer systems for record-keeping and task management
Demonstrated ability to follow multi-step procedures with attention to detail
