Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for an innovative molecular diagnostics laboratory in Eden Prairie, Minnesota . This is a temp-to-hire, full-time, onsite opportunity working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM .
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career laboratory professional to gain hands-on experience within a high-complexity, CLIA-certified molecular diagnostics environment while contributing to accurate and timely clinical testing.

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will perform hands-on clinical bench work across multiple areas of a molecular diagnostics laboratory. Responsibilities include specimen accessioning, DNA extraction, PCR testing, post-PCR processing, reagent preparation, quality control, and laboratory documentation.
Working as part of a collaborative laboratory team, this position will follow established procedures to support accurate testing, specimen integrity, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. The role is well suited for a laboratory professional with 1-4 years of relevant experience who is interested in continuing to develop their clinical and molecular laboratory skills.

Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Hands-on experience within a molecular diagnostics laboratory
Collaborative, team-oriented laboratory environment
Perform hands-on clinical bench testing, including specimen accessioning, DNA extraction, PCR testing, post-PCR processing, and reagent preparation, following established standard operating procedures.
Verify patient specimens, identify discrepancies, and accurately maintain laboratory documentation and information systems.
Support assay processing, quality control activities, and accurate documentation of testing results.
Follow established CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, laboratory safety, and quality standards.
Assist with troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, laboratory maintenance, and routine laboratory housekeeping.
Participate in laboratory meetings, training, special projects, and continuous process improvement activities.
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related life sciences field required.

• 1-4 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably within a clinical, molecular, diagnostic, or similarly regulated laboratory environment.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with DNA extraction, PCR, molecular testing, specimen processing, or related bench techniques preferred.
• Experience with laboratory information systems, clinical documentation, or data entry preferred.
