Hospital Security Professional - Full Time

36 hours per week/rotating/Wednesday-Sunday 11p-7am
The Security Officer Armed Recruit role is a role designated for newly hired Security Officers while preparing for successful transition to an Armed Officer role. During the transition period of 120 days all training and required certifications will be completed to allow them to progress to an Armed Security Officer role. The primary function of this transitional role is to further develop the necessary skills, training, and certifications required to carry a weapon and function as a fully Armed Security Officer.

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

1 year of security, military or police experience (Preferred)

An offer of employment for a Security Officer Armed Recruit is contingent on passing the pre-employment screening process, which includes a fitness assessment and psychological evaluation. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.86 - $29.15 hourly.Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
