Your Opportunity Join a top 10 global design firm in our multi-sector Buildings practice that provides architecture, buildings engineering, and interior design services with a long history and deep commitment to the commercial, industrial, healthcare, and science & technology sectors. We are seeking an architectural designer to join our buildings practice. You will work on tasks under the guidance of a senior designer or architect. Licensure is not required but it is expected to be part of your short-term goals.

Your Key Responsibilities - Keeps the project manager informed of progress on expectations, deadlines, and deliverables that fall within their responsibility. Assists in monitoring and coordination of consultant work and deadlines. - Assist project teams in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats. - Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components. - Prepare and revises documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details. - Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) Assist in contract administration tasks. - Attend project coordination and meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants. - Implement sustainable design principles into the building design and surrounding environment. - Assist in site analysis, research of concept, benchmarks, typology, and precedents.

Your Capabilities and Credentials - Capable of simultaneously supporting multiple project managers on multiple projects. - General understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards. - Team player with the client, entire project team, and contractor. - Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, InDesign, and Photoshop; prefer experience with Enscape, SketchUP, Newforma.

Education and Experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture. - Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Work from home may be optional for up to two days per week depending on assignment.
