Prep Cooks - Monday-Friday - WEEKLY PAY!

Prep CookWe are looking for a hard-working prep cook to be responsible for setting up workstations in the kitchen and preparing ingredients for the cooking process. The prep cook is required to perform basic cooking duties, monitor stock levels, and take on culinary tasks as they arise.Schedule: The schedule is weekly (Monday - Friday)Monday: 7am - 11amTuesday: 7am - 3pmWednesday: 7am - 3pmThursday: 7am - 3pmFriday: 7am - 11amPay: $16.00 per hour (weekly pay)Responsibilities:Setting up and sanitizing workstations.Following prep lists created by chefs.Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.Preparing simple dishes, such as entrees or salads.Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.Assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.Skills & Qualifications:Culinary school training, preferred.Prior experience as a prep cook, caterer, or in food service is preferred.Manual dexterity to operate cooking tools such as knives.Physical Demands:The Prep Cook position is a high-energy role and as such, some physical demands of the position include:The ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods of timeUse of hands to handle or feel and the ability to reach with hands and armThe ability to stoop, kneel, or crouchThe ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach for items below waist level or above shouldersThe ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 poundsThe ability to speak loudly and clearly - This role is subject to loud noise for extended periods of time depending on the time and day of the week
