Head of Project Management

This is an entry-level project management role with a clear growth path. You'll start by supporting the Director of PMO and our existing Program Managers across New Product Development (NPD) initiatives spanning our ESS and IoT product lines. As you build domain knowledge and demonstrate ownership, you'll progressively take on direct responsibility for specific projects — the exact mix of ESS, IoT, or other PMO initiatives will be shaped by your strengths and our business needs. Job Responsibilities Support the Director of PMO and other Program Managers with project tracking, scheduling, and status reporting across active development programs
Serve as the primary driver of engagement across all departments, from management to sales, design engineering, MFG engineer, material planning, supply chain, production, and service, to ensure project tasks are closed out and objectives are met.
Create and drive multiple complex project schedules and ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with established deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating proactively to project leads
Assist with documentation: meeting minutes, project charters, stage gate packages, status decks, and stakeholder updates
Support requirements management activities owned by the PMO, helping ensure requirements are captured, tracked, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle
As readiness grows, take direct ownership of defined work streams within ESS NPD, IoT/Condor development, or other PMO initiatives — eventually leading project meetings and owning full projects independently
Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and reporting standards
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; other STEM or Business degrees also considered
0-2 years of project coordination, project management, or relevant internship/co-op experience (new grads encouraged to apply)
Experience with ERP systems, databases, and spreadsheet analysis.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment — able to context-switch across multiple concurrent projects and shift priorities without losing track of details
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting updates to cross-functional stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Wrike a plus
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and genuine curiosity about hardware product development
Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and drive task completion in a fast-paced environment
Salary $60,000 - $75,000, depending on qualifications and experience
