Temp - Phlebotomist - LAB

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist – Rover to serve in SouthBend and Mishawaka, Indiana.

Work schedule: Monday–Friday rotational start and end times from 7:00am–5:00pm in SouthBend; every other Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm in Mishawaka.

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

1 year of phlebotomy experience or more.

Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment.

Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.

Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.

Employee eligibility for a 7 on/7 off schedule includes all benefits except PTO or FTO.

Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
