Job Summary:

Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (ASHEVILLE, NC) is seeking qualified candidates for a night shift position on the Observation Unit. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing telemetry monitoring and patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: ASHEVILLE, NC

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Telemetry Certification, valid license.

Preferred Qualifications: Med-Surg Certification.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Unit type is Observation Unit with 20 beds and a staffing ratio of 1:6 on night shift. Equipment includes telemetry monitors and Baxter pumps. EMR system used is Cerner/PowerChart.

Typical procedures performed on unit: Telemetry monitoring, Foley insertion, IV starts.

Dress Code: Scrubs (all navy, all white, or white top with navy bottoms).

Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Start Date: 07/06/2026

No minimum years of experience required.
