Network/Desktop Support Tech

Great opportunity to be on Long Island with a financial services firm. Maintains the firm’s IT infrastructure as described below and provides support to desktop support teams as needed.
Onsite - Role located in Melvile Configures, installs, maintains and provides support for the below technologies:
Microsoft Active Directory. Experience with Group Policy, DNS, Sites and Services, DHCP, Powershell
Server hardware configurations (specifically Cisco C-Series)- Hyper-V, and Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
Exchange 2019 including DAG configurations
Microsoft SQL 2022 including AG configurations
VMWare ESXi, vCenter and vSAN configurations
Cisco Email Security Appliances
Experience with Microsoft Azure (IAAS and PAAS implementations)
Knowledge of backup processes and disaster recovery. Experience with CommVault Commcell backup solutions
Ability to proactively assess security updates across all products and implementations mentioned
Monitors system availability and performance
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
