Full-Time CRNA Long-Term Contract Fort Cavazos, TX

Location: Fort Cavazos, Texas

Position Type: Full-Time Preferred | Locum / PRN Considered | CRNA

Overview: This is a civilian contractor CRNA opportunity supporting inpatient surgical and anesthesia services within a structured clinical environment. No military service required. A Texas state license is required for this role.

Practice Highlights

Full-scope anesthesia practice (general anesthesia, regional techniques, OB epidurals, and perioperative coverage)

Work independently within defined clinical scope

Self-scheduling model (flexibility based on coverage requirements)

Pager call rotation required

Long-term contract with potential to extend

Credentialing timeframe approximately 4560 days

Candidate Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program

Current CRNA certification (AANA / NBCRNA)

Active, unrestricted RN license and Texas APRN licensure (or eligibility support available)

Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no online-only certifications)

Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in the last 3 years

Competent in general anesthesia, epidural/spinal anesthesia, IV regional techniques, airway management, and perioperative evaluation/documentation

Schedule & Coverage

Full-Time strongly preferred; local PRN candidates may be considered

Flexible scheduling coordinated with clinical team needs

Primary coverage in the OR with additional perioperative patient management responsibilities

Expected to follow established clinical documentation and communication standards
