Bartender and Server for Bistro Restaurant

We’re currently hiring for servers for the winter season. We are also accepting applications for our outdoor restaurant, “The Tiki Bar and Grill”, for all positions.

Salary: $6.75 per hour plus tips for Bartenders. $15 per hour plus tips for Barbacks
The Sunset Tiki Bar & Grill is a fun, high-energy workplace where every day feels like a mini vacation. Maintain exceptional service standards for all guests at the bar and in the dining area.
Take and prepare drink and food orders quickly and accurately to ensure a smooth guest experience.
Stay proactive by restocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the workspace guest-ready at all times.
Previous experience as a bartender, bar back, server, or in any other front-of-house (FOH) restaurant role is highly desirable.
Education: No education required
Work location: On-site
Pay: $6.75 per hour plus tips

Weekend availability a must
Daytime availability for private functions
Responsibilities
Greet every guest warmly at the bar and create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere
Maintain exceptional service standards for all guests at the bar and in the dining area
Take and prepare drink and food orders quickly and accurately to ensure a smooth guest experience
Stay proactive by restocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the workspace guest-ready at all times
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Tiki Bar food and Drink menu to confidently answer questions and make sales
Create high-quality, craft cocktails with consistency and care
Maintain a full understanding of alcoholic beverage laws and ensure responsible alcohol service
Be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state guidelines
Build genuine connections with guests, creating memorable dining experiences
Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
Stand for the duration of your shift and safely lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Keep a positive attitude and friendly demeanor throughout each shift
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, upholding food safety and quality standards
