Janitor

The Janitor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and individuals served by Didlake. This position directly supports daily operations by ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards while upholding Didlake's mission and values.

Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.

Dust furniture, equipment, and fixtures.

Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.

Sort and transport recyclable materials to designated recycling areas.

Perform work with attention to quality, detail, and consistency.

Maintain appropriate conduct and professional demeanor in accordance with Didlake policy.

Follow safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment and cleaning supplies.

Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.

A strong commitment to producing quality work.

Willingness to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

High School diploma or GED, or six months of previous custodial work experience.

Must possess a valid Real ID for access to the work site.

Ability to interact effectively with employees with disabilities.
