Manufacturing Engineer And Senior Manufacturing EngineerJoin our client in optimizing and scaling cutting-edge technologies from research prototypes to high-volume production. Combine hands-on process development with core manufacturing engineering to enhance efficiency, quality, yield, and cost-effectiveness in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.In these roles, you will:Develop, qualify, and optimize processes for innovative technologies on large-format substrates.Transition technologies from small-scale research to full-scale production.Install, qualify, and troubleshoot new equipment; implement performance and reliability upgrades.Analyze workflow, layout, and resource utilization for maximum efficiency.Estimate production times, costs, and staffing requirements.Apply structured problem-solving to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, equipment, program management, product, and quality.Coordinate with vendors on specifications, materials, and equipment.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.4–8 years of experience in process development or scaling for precision devices.Experience in industries like architectural or specialty coatings, or device-on-glass technologies.Proven ability to scale new technologies from lab to production.Strong problem-solving mindset with an entrepreneurial, adaptable approach.Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision on complex issues.Physical/Environmental Requirements:Frequent standing; occasional lifting (up to 15 lb), bending, kneeling.Good vision, hearing, dexterity; exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, mechanical/electrical equipment.At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
