The Westerner in West Valley City, UT is looking to hire a full-time Cook - Line Cook to join our restaurant cooking team to prepare and serve the delicious food that our customers love. This restaurant cooking position earns a competitive wage of $25/hour . In addition to great pay, you will also receive health and dental benefits . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COOK - LINE COOK

As a Cook - Line Cook, you arrive at the bar each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. To maintain guest satisfaction, you carefully follow recipes as well as assemble and plate food in an appealing manner. To make sure that properly cooked food gets out to diners in a timely manner, you communicate effectively with other staff to maintain organization, coordination, and efficiency in the kitchen. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. To guarantee high-quality meals, you regularly rotate stock and dispose of expired products. You love working in a fast-paced culinary environment. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers and guests alike contribute greatly to the success of our restaurant!

Utah Alcohol Server training card or be able to acquire it within 14 days of hire

Salt Lake County Health Department food handler's permit or be able to acquire it within 14 days of hire

This restaurant food service position works every other Tuesday for deep cleaning from 9 AM - 12 PM and every Wednesday - Saturday from 4 PM - 2:30 AM.
