Painter, General Maintenance

The Painter is responsible for ensuring that components are prepped and painted in accordance with provided technical data.

Perform surface preparation by chemical de-painting, mechanical de-painting, cleaning, buffing, sanding, blasting, and treating surfaces and parts. This includes paint removal, surface preparation, and surface treatment, blasting, and sanding on a variety of aircraft or aircraft components.

• Operate all abrasive and non-abrasive blasting equipment such as glass media, plastic media and water cleaning equipment.
• Paint various material types with various application methods.

Basic to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, and procedure manuals.
• Must be trustworthy - will handle confidential information routinely
• Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
• Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista Aviation, Inc.'High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate with 15 years' of technical experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
