Central Maine (Hybrid, full-time or part-time)
Our client, a CPA firm in Central Maine , is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This role may be structured as either full-time or part-time, depending on candidate preference and business needs, and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Requirements of the Bookkeeper:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, with a strong background in managing end-to-end accounting functions
• QuickBooks and/or QuickBooks Online experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
Maintain financial records for monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping clients
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Maintain client fixed asset schedules
Calculate, file, and pay monthly & quarterly sales tax returns
Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Research special projects as they arise
