Lab phlebotomist health

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and serve as the face of the company.

Qualifications Minimum: Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license.

Preferred: 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Experience drawing on pediatrics.

In lieu of state license requirement, a lab assistant license application filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the requirement.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Job Standards Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; additional days/hours as needed.

Pay Range $17.75 – $27.69 per hour.
