Insurance Adjuster - Field Property Position

National General is seeking an experienced Field Property Adjuster to manage property claims in the Sacramento, CA area. You will be responsible for creating and/or auditing comprehensive, accurate estimates for first-party property claims to support fair and timely claim resolution. This position requires on-site inspections and the ability to clearly communicate findings and next steps to customers and stakeholders, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of field property claims experience, strong proficiency with Xactimate , and demonstrated experience writing estimates on-site . Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential , along with the ability to manage multiple claims effectively. This is a field-based role, so candidates must currently reside in the Sacramento, CA area .
Key Responsibilities * Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
- Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
- Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company

You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign on Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role. This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.
